Marigg Staahl is a ruthless and ambitious Imperial Naval officer in command of the Star Destroyer Inevitable. The Inevitable has two missions, one is to pacify the system as part of the greater strategy of asserting Imperial Control in the region, and the other is as an attachment to Lord Vader’s purge of any Force Sensitives or Jedi who may be hiding in the region.

Captain Staahl is very good at his job, skilled and Politically Connected back in the Core. He knows (especially if he can please Lord Vader) that he is on a very short list to be named a Moff very soon. To this end he leaves almost nothing to chance with regards to his orders and any opportunity to impress the Admiralty or the Emperor’s court.
